IQ Capture Privacy Policy

IQ Capture (“the Extension”) is a browser helper for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari coaches using Opponent IQ. Think of it as a faster copy-and-paste: it helps you copy play-by-play and box score content you can already see on a scorecard page you opened, then paste that package into the Opponent IQ Process Game box for your review.

What the Extension does

• Shows a Capture control on supported game pages you already opened with your own access
• Captures only after you click Capture — assisted copy of visible page content, not background scraping
• On dual-tab scorecards: Capture Plays / Play-by-Play, then Capture Box Score when needed
• On single-page scorecards: one Capture when the page already includes the needed game text
• Places that capture into Opponent IQ Process Game for your review
• Opponent IQ Process Game unwrap requires Opponent IQ Pro

Supported hosts (v0.4.30)

IQ Capture is not affiliated with any third-party scorecard product. The Extension only reads pages you open and choose to capture. Current host permissions include:

• gc.com, gamechanger.io
• espn.com
• mlb.com, statsapi.mlb.com (live feed only after you click Capture on a Gameday game)
• baseballsavant.mlb.com, iscoresports.com (limited / evolving support)
• prestosports.com (college scorecard CDN pages you open)
• Any school athletics scorecard (…/boxscores/….xml / …/boxscore/…): access is requested optionally for that one site when you open the extension or click Capture on that page (via activeTab + optional host permission). The extension does not request broad required access to all websites, and it does not keep a list of school domains.
• Opponent IQ (app.opponentiq.com) for handoff into Process Game

Data the Extension handles

• Game page content you choose to capture (Plays / play-by-play and Box Score text, or StatsAPI live JSON for an MLB game you opened)
• Basic game identifiers needed to keep Plays and Box Score matched (for example game URL / schedule id, MLB game_pk, and team names shown on the page)
• Temporary local extension storage for an in-progress capture until you send it, start over, or it expires

What we do not do

• We do not scrape scorecard sites in the background or crawl games without you
• We do not capture pages without your click
• We do not store your third-party scorecard passwords or log into those apps for you
• We do not sell personal data
• We do not use capture data for advertising
• We do not automatically process or save a game in Opponent IQ — you must click Process Game

Where data goes

When you send a capture, the Extension opens or focuses your Opponent IQ account page and fills the Process Game input with the capture package. From that point, the data is handled under your Opponent IQ account and the Opponent IQ service terms.

Clipboard copy may be used as a fallback so you can paste into Process Game if automatic fill is unavailable.

Permissions

The Extension requests access only to supported game sites and Opponent IQ so it can show the Capture control, read the page you chose to capture, optionally fetch the MLB StatsAPI live feed for that game after Capture, and deliver that capture into Process Game.
